CURRICULUM.:

Dina Moscato ha compiuto gli studi artistici a Forlì presso l'Istituto d'arte, conseguendo il Diploma di Maturità d'Arte Applicata.
Nel 1980 si diploma All'Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna, ottenendo nello stesso periodo il 3°posto del Concorso "PREMIO ZUCCHELLI ACCADEMIA BELLE ARTI".
S empre a Bologna ottiene il 2° posto al CONCORSO NAZIONALE DI GRAFICA.
Attualmente insegna discipline artistiche.

LA MAGIA DELLA TECNICA A BATIK

L’imprevedibilità della tecnica è uguale ad una continua sorpresa.
Sorpresa di un percorso inizialmente progammato ma in continua trasformazione:dalla cera prima e dal colore dopo.
Non importa se un segno,una linea, una figura, emergono dalla composizione non sempre regolari e definiti.
La “sorpresa” di una linea irregolare assume nel contesto, una “magica” rivelazione:ora espressiva ora fortemente cromatica. Il soggetto si svincola dalla realtà e crea con il suo colore fuori da ogni regola(il corpo giallo,il cielo viola,il volto blu, il cavallo rosso……..),
il clima da “fiaba”.
Complice la cera che, con il suo “calore”:segna,definisce,”sdefinisce”,rompe,dilata,diminuisce,chiude,
accenna,si insinua,emerge,si ricompone,regalando immagini sorprendenti.:
LA MAGIA SI E’ COMPIUTA!!!
Come in un caleidoscopio,le “forme” si trasformano in una girandola di colori,trattenuti o respinti dai pieni e dai vuoti lasciati dalla cera liquefatta.
Incanto,meraviglia,le misteriose pratiche alchemiche della tecnica
avvolgono e conducono l’osservatore in un mondo di surreale apparizioni.

CURRICULUM.:

DINA MOSCATO has studied at Forli’ at Institute of Arts getting the upper school leael certificate;
In 1980 she gets a diplomaot the “Accademia of Belle Arts” in Bologna and in the same year, the 3rd place at the Premio Zucchelli –Accademia Belle Arti;
Always in Bologna she obtains the 2nd place at the Graphic National Competition.
At present she teacher of arts.

Full of fantasy and life’s energy as her art is, the artist DINA MOSCATO gives us a rich and varied reportory of her continuons work.
The use of wax with its fluidity and the resulting cracks transforms unexpectedly and without any rules not only the lines but also colours; creating broken lines, changes of direction and letting the elements of fantasy come out which in fact is the appeal of the art of Batik.
The artist takes us into the world of creative fantasy and magic; where she continuons plays witht space and time.
Her choice of different materials, forms and shapes shows us the jorful challenge of her work where the fantastic and the creative elements used by the artist.are remewed over and over again.And so happens with frames and frames and bordes always creating a precious contrast with the subject and the colour of wax painting.
